4, 6 or 8 seats: which size fits your home?
Allow about 60 cm (2 ft) of table edge for each person, and leave about 90 cm (3 ft) between the table and the wall so people can pull out their chairs and walk behind them. As a rough guide:

What affects the price of a dining set?
- Number of chairs. Each extra chair adds timber, foam, fabric and labour, and the table gets longer too.
- Wood. Solid hardwood and mahogany cost more than cheap board, but they don’t wobble, sag or swell when a drink is spilled.
- Chair design. Fully upholstered or high-back chairs cost more than simple wooden chairs with a seat cushion. A bench on one side can save a little.
- Table top. Thick solid tops, glass tops and detailed edges add to the price.
- Finish. Natural wood, dark stain and painted finishes are priced differently. You choose the wood colour and the chair fabric.

Paying for your dining set
All our dining sets are made to order in our Lower Kabete workshop and are ready in 7 to 14 working days. You can pay a 50% deposit and the balance when it’s ready, or spread the cost over up to 4 months with M-Pesa. For example, a KSh 50,000 6-seater set works out to KSh 12,500 a month.
